- Grizzly Peak
- Great lollipop loop up and around Grizzly Peak overlooking the Rouge Valley. Starts out pretty steep for a mile to the loop. Simple, fairly flat 3-4 mile loop with the peak about half way. Beware of cattle on the trail as it's open range. There is a single vault toilet at the TH.

- Wagner Butte
- Pretty steep and fairly long out and back trail for a great view of the Rogue Valley to the North.
- 10 miles out and back
- Ask Siri for directions to Wagner Butte TH near Talent, Oregon. About 20 minutes on winding gravel road from Ashland.

- Nice out and back to a scary climb up Pilot Rock and a great view of Northern California.

- Ask Siri for directions to Pilot Rock TH. Only 15 minutes from Ashland off the Mt. Ashland road turnoff of 1-5.

- Scenic and smooth rolling hills around the hills near Ashland.
- 1-15 mile system
- Just south of downtown Ashland. Follow Granite street up the hill onto the gravel for access to longer trails.
- Sterling Mine Ditch Trail
- Wonderful trail I hope to visit soon.

- Near Jacksonville Oregon just a few miles from Ashland on 62.

- Upper Rogue Valley trail
- Rolling trail along the Upper Rogue river trail. Beautiful views of the river and the Takelma gorge.
- 41 mile system point to point
- The ranger station is just past Prospect Oregon on highway 62 about 30 miles north of Ashland. I started at the River Bridge which is just below the gorge. There is a nice campsite there with a vault toilet and camping if you'd like.

- Hobart Bluff / Soda Mountain
- Same trailhead for each trail. Vault toilet at the TH. Soda mountain is a quick 2 miles (1 mile up the PCT and then a 1 mile stretch up a jeep road to the peak. There are cell towers and facilities at the top but a great view to California, Pilot Rock, and Mt. Ashland.
- 4 mile out and back to Soda Mountain.
